In spite of certain outstanding examples of individual achievement of Indian woman and a definite improvement in their general condition over the last one hundred years, it remains true that our women still constitute a large body of under - privileged citizens. Women of course do not form a homogenous group in class or caste terms. Nevertheless, they face distinctive problems that call for special attention. India witnessed Savitribai Phule, Ramabai Ranade such a great personality in the field of education who had contribute their entire life towards womens education and empowerment.

Nanda Pratishthan works on various issues of Girls and Women's Educational Scholarship/ Sponsorship for Girls

Education is the most important part of today’s life especially for those who cannot have sufficient family support. By examining such needs Nanda Praishthans has started educational scholarship for girls especially for rural areas.

Sports Scholarship for Girls:

Nanda Pratishthan provide sports scholarship for those girls who are willing to play for nation but are not able to do so because of financial support or either because they belong to below poverty line families.

Women Saving Schemes:

Nanda Pratishthan has set up women saving schemes for those womens who were working in the farms on daily wages and those who don't have banking facility in their village. Nanda Pratishthan aware them about various saving schemes and train them about cooperative finance schemes which are very helpful for their life.

Self-Employment Schemes for Women:

Nanda Pratishthan teach and arranged seminars and workshop about self-employment which is related to agriculturally based. Till date more than 200 women are running their small-scale business-like stitching machine, food stalls, tea centres, food centre, papad making workshops, poultry farms etc.
